Upon arrival at Eiger Lodge Chic, I was immediately struck by the modern and clean vibe of the new wooden buildings. The location, right next to Grindelwald Terminal station, proved to be incredibly convenient for accessing the numerous cable cars in the area. This alone added significant value to my stay, as it allowed for easy transportation to various activities in the region without the need for a car.The room I stayed in was simple yet well-equipped with all the essentials. It was compact but comfortable, with a clean and modern bathroom. I particularly appreciated the USB charging ports as my adaptor didn't fit the power sockets. The free Wi-Fi in rooms was a nice touch for keeping connected during my stay.One standout feature for me was the breakfast provided each morning. It offered a good variety of options, from eggs and meats to yoghurt and muesli, and enjoying it outside with a view of the mountains was a peaceful way to start the day.In terms of the value proposition, Eiger Lodge Chic excels in providing a solid base for exploring Grindelwald and the surrounding mountains.
